The MarshallZehr Mortgage Opportunities Fund’s primary objective is to generate a stream of income and preserve capital through investing in a diversified portfolio of construction mortgages in Canada. The Fund may also hold cash, cash equivalents, fixed income securities and some real estate related equities such as the preferred shares of development projects.
The Pool primarily invests in development and construction mortgages secured by Real Property situated in Canada. Capstone diversifies the portfolio of mortgage investments by type, priority, duration and risk while maintaining consideration for the state of the economy, the general financial markets and the Canadian real estate market.
