Clayton joins Capstone with 25 years of experience in the finance and real estate industry. His role is to lead and manage Capstone's real estate and mortgage investments and serves on Capstone’s Investment Management Team.
Having led over $1 billion in debt financings and direct real estate investments, Clayton brings to Capstone a broad background in real estate and underwriting. This experience has been developed through senior and leadership roles at GE, CIBC, and HSBC. Clayton’s institutional background is well balanced by his work as a senior finance executive with a large private developer and property manager, in addition to self employment arranging term, construction, and development financing for well established clients.
Outside of work Clayton enjoys time with his wife and family, often camping and traveling, but more typically wrangling logistics to cheer on and support three active children.
