Rachel’s experience as a co-op student with Capstone and her multifaceted skill set led her to a permanent position as an Accountant in 2023. Her drive to succeed and produce quality work ensures that she excels in any work she does.
Before joining Capstone, Rachel worked in various roles including Program Assistant and Administrative Assistant. Her skills really shone during her time as a Junior Accountant at a tax firm, where she helped complete month and year end reports for a wide client base.
These opportunities coincided with her passion for numbers, encouraging her to complete her Bachelor of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, with a focus on accounting. Rachel’s education and past work experience have contributed to her quality accounting, administrative, and organizational skills, allowing her to efficiently perform any tasks required, including processing accounts payable and receivables, and contributing to month-end financial reporting.
When she’s not working through charts and analyzing numbers, Rachel can be found spending quality time with her friends and family or volunteering for various programs and events through her church.
