On May 29 and 30, 2025, Capstone Asset Management had the privilege of participating in two significant events held at the Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel: the Kingdom Advisors Canada One-Day Conference and the Spark Leadership Conference. I attended alongside Capstone’s CEO and President, Glenn Murray, and Chief Investment Officer, Paul Carter, representing our firm in alignment with our commitment to faith-informed financial stewardship and values-based leadership.

Faith-Driven Conversations in Finance

The Kingdom Advisors Canada conference, held on May 29, brought together financial professionals from across the country who are seeking to integrate biblical wisdom into their financial advice and business practices. The event featured thought-provoking sessions from speakers such as Tim Jenkins, Sophia Kusyk, and Lorne Robinson, who offered insights into how advisors can align their practices with principles of Kingdom stewardship. Discussions emphasized the importance of purpose-driven advising, client discipleship, and ethical responsibility in the context of modern wealth management.

Leadership Rooted in Faith and Purpose

The following day, the Spark Leadership Conference offered a broader focus on marketplace leadership and faith-based impact. Organized by LeaderImpact and Power to Change, the full-day event provided a platform for business leaders to explore how to live out their faith authentically in both corporate and community settings. Keynote speakers included Rev. Dr. Joe Boot, who addressed the role of Christian worldview in the public square, and Pete Ochs, who shared compelling insights on integrating spiritual, social, and economic capital into business strategy.

John Muller spoke on servant leadership as a framework for influence, while former NHL player and leadership coach Ryan Walter delivered a dynamic session on the power of mindset in shaping long-term impact. Throughout both events, our team had the opportunity to engage directly with advisors, investors, and fellow leaders who share a commitment to purpose-oriented work.

These interactions reinforced the growing interest in faith-aligned investing and the value of building trusted relationships grounded in shared convictions. As a sponsor and participant, Capstone was honoured to support these gatherings and to continue fostering dialogue at the intersection of finance, faith, and leadership.

Both events served as a timely reminder of the importance of clarity, intentionality, and conviction in the financial services industry. We look forward to continued collaboration with Kingdom Advisors, Spark Leadership, and others who are leading with purpose in the Canadian marketplace.
